3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Inhalation Remove patient to fresh air.			Skin Contact Flush with plenty of water and remove contaminated clothing and seek medical attention.		Eye Contact Irrigate the eye with water or eye wash solution for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention.
Ingestion Give milk or water as a dilutent. 15 mls per kilo of body weight to a maximum of 200-300 mls and seek immediate medical attention.				Notes to Physician Treat as symptomatic.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Material is not flammable. Use any suitable fire fighting medium.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Absorb large spillage’s with sand or any suitable medium. Dispose of according to local authority guidelines. Small spillage’s may be flushed away with water. Avoid washings entering water courses. Do not allow product to enter eyes.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling Avoid skin and eye contact.				Storage Store at ambient temperatures. Keep from freezing.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Respiratory Protection Not necessary unless used in a confined space.			Hand Protection Wear suitable gloves such as rubber or plastic.		Eye Protection Wear goggles.
Skin Protection Wear suitable overalls.		Occupational Exposure Limit 100% Sodium Hydroxide. Has an 8hr and 10min TWA or 0.5ppm 100% Sodium Hypochlorite has an 8hr TWA of 0.375ppm
